St. Matthew’s School has many partnerships with the surrounding community.
The LaSallian Reading Group volunteers their time to read with students in small groups weekly.
Project Rainbow is a pen-pal program between our 4th thru 8th grade students and local elderly residents.
University of St. Thomas students volunteer as tutors for students throughout the week at a variety of grade levels.
The College of St. Catherine’s students enrolled in the education program spend time observing and working with small groups at a variety of grade levels.
Boys and Girls Scouts have regular activities and meetings available to students.
The Boys and Girls Club provides social activities and homework help for students and their families.
St. Francis of Assisi in Lakeland, MN, is a sister parish and partners with St. Matthew’s in many initiatives including tuition assistance fundraising, Project Rainbow and summer stretch.
